The Structural Mechanics in Reactor Technology (SMiRT) conference is the outstanding international conference for participants to further their capabilities by being exposed to diverse presentations, exchange ideas related to structural mechanics in reactor technology. SMiRT attracts approximately more than 600 attendees with over 500 technical presentations. To continue the high impact growth of this structural integrity area and lead it into the future nuclear safety, the purpose of this conference is to assemble world experts across scientific and engineering disciplines to actively discuss the latest topics under the slogan of “NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.” The 25th International Conference on SMiRT will be held August 04~09, 2017 in Charlotte, North Caroline which is the commercial hub in North Caroline with several museum and hall of fames. This conference include plenary lectures, outstanding presentations in each division, young engineers activities, conference banquet, several networking opportunities and technical tours.
