Sarah Dickson

Environmental Impact

Dr. Sarah Dickson is the Director of the joint McMaster University-United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment & Health: Water without Borders Program. She is also the Director of the McMaster Water Network. She specializes in the transport of contaminants in fractured rock systems, where she leads several analytical and experimental studies at both the laboratory and field scales. She is actively translating her research results to useful data required by policy makers and other stakeholders to improve water protection strategies.
