Ahmed graduated in 2016 with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Cairo University as the first of the structural Engineering Class. He was awarded the best graduation project in steel structure in Egypt for 2015/2016 academic year. Based on his Academic Excellence, he was appointed as Teaching/Research assistant in Structural Engineering department in Cairo University. He was granted his M.Sc. degree in 2019 with A+ grade. M.Sc. research focused on the Behavior of Sheathed Cold-Formed Walls Subjected to Lateral Loads. He joined McMaster University’s PhD Program in fall 2019. His PhD research mostly interested in simulating the complex system of hydro-power dams using system dynamics (SD) and assessment of hydro-power dam system safety.
