Mohammed received his B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering in 2013. He has a three year industrial experience in the field of structural analysis and design of reinforced and prestressed concrete, and steel structures combined with a wide experience in the area of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Mohammed earned his MSc in 2016 with a focus on evaluating losses in prestressed concrete systems. He joined the NSERC CaNRisk-CREATE program on fall 2017 as a PhD student at McMaster University in Civil Engineering Department. His general rea of research will be on the performance of the Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) under different operation conditions considering soil-structure interaction.
